Siloso Beach is considered to be one of the best beaches in Singapore.

Siloso beach is believed to be a man made beach, that is according also to some permanent residence that I have interviewed.

It's very nice having here at sentosa island, you'll have lots of fun.

My Room

This is my room, this is where I spent almost all nights during my stay in this dormitory.

Do you want to ask the capacity of this dormitory? Well, this dormitory comes with two (2) comfort rooms, a dining area, living room, kitchen and comes with Three (3) bedrooms and each rooms has a capacity of Four (4) double deck beds or equivalent to Eight (8) persons in a room.

Some good memories:

I had lots of good memories in this dormitory, especially during monday wherein some of the trainees does not have their schedule for work. During our day-off, together with my friends, we used to hang-out and explore the city and most of the attractions Singapore has to offer.

Location: This dormitory is located few minutes away from the tourists destinations.

The Old Chijmes

Once the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ), and is established in 1854. The order of the Holy Infant Jesus was founded by a Frenchman, Father Nicholas Barre. Was born in Amiens, France in 1621 and educated at a Jesuit college in his hometown, Nicholas Barre decided to dedicate his life to God. Despite of the success he had, he was a man of humility and the idea of improving education in France struck him.

The process of restoration

After almost five and a half years of painstaking conservation and construction work, what was once the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus(CHIJ) and the seat of education for generations of Singapore girls, has been converted into a plaza of theme retail and F&B outlets interspersed with ample outdoor spaces and courtyards, cloistered walls and long, covered walkways. This haven in the city hub of Singapore, known as Chijmes (pronounced "chimes"), is a S$100 million project unmatched for its location and unique ambience.

When first time I saw this architecture, I thought it was a church, yes it is, but when I enter the premise, lots of questions suddenly bothers me, I have seen lots of Bars and Restaurants inside the premise which is for me was against the Lord, because church is for sabbath not for pleasure, fun or whatever. I actually don't have any idea about the background nor the story behind the chijmes. On the other hand, I am amazed knowing that it is very unique, the chijmes got nice location, it is located right after the big business establishments "city".

Enter the world of sharks, stingrays, eels and other sea creatures via a moving travellator that ferries your through an 83-metre long acrylic tunnel right into the depths of the ocean.

It was a wonderful experience I had here. This is my first time to be in Sentosa Island and since this is my first, my friends ask me that I am free to explore everything in here.

Well, if you would like me to ask about the price : S$19.90/head for adult, S$12.70/head for child (3-12 years old) Free for children below 3 years old.

Not bad, because you'll be receiving a free admission to Dolphin Lagoon.

I am facing the national road. On my back, that is the front of the Esplanade. The idea of the design of the Esplanade is drawn from the fruit "durian". Durian is one of the favorite fruit of chinese national.

Chinese Temple Singapore

This is the Chinese Temple, located almost a walk away from the china town proper and is fronting few of the tallest buildings in Singapore. I was not able to go inside, because i'm not pretty sure if tourists are allowed.

Bugis MRT Station, Singapore

This is the Bugis MRT station. Before you can reach the Train, you have to walk down the underground passing two escalators, you can see from the photo how long the escalator is. I was on the middle of the escalator when I snap a shot. It was my 4rth day of my stay here in Singapore and this is my 1st time to ride the Singapore MRT.

Standing at 165 metres, a height of 42 storey building. Each capsule has a 28 person capacity and the spectacular monument can hold up to 784 passengers. Each revolution takes about 30 minutes. The Flyer was launched in 2008.

The Singapore Flyer comes with a three storey building with an array of retail, entertainment, food outlets, open air theatre for live performances.

The Singapore Flyer is a new waterfront attraction that sits among the hotbed of upcoming exciting developments in Manira Bay. Visitorswill be able to take the dynamic Singapore landscape including the sunrise and sunset and even some parts of Malaysia and Indonesia at every turn of the wheel.

Well, if you would ask me about the price. It will cost you S$29.50/head for adult and S$20.65/head for children and S$23.60/head for senior.

It was such a great experience I had riding with this flyer, I was amazed with their facilities and the hospitality of the staffs and specially the breathtaking view of the flyer.

The Merlion Park at Marina Bay

I had lots of good memories and experiences during my stay out there, and i would love to share it.

April 09, 2008, my flight schedule from Philippines to Singapore. I was obsolutely amazed the moment I arrived at Changi Airport Singapore. It was my first time to be in Singapore and so I am very excited to see and look around. The Changi Airport was such a huge Airport and is known to be the best and largest Airport in the world.

From Airport, I have to travel a taxi going to my dormitory where I'm about to stay for Six Months. While I'm on my way, I noticed everything about Singapore, the Roads, the Buildings, the Trees, the Nature itself, I can say that Singapore is one of the best country that I would love to stay for good.

During my rest days, I used to travel and explore the country, I used to walk around and visit the City, the Merlion Park, the Marina Bay, the China Town, the Suntec City, the Bugis street, the Little India, the Orchard Road, the Raffles Place and the best of all is the Sentosa Island where you can find most of the pleasures, Activites (e.g Luge & Skyride, Songs of the Sea, underwater world, Cable car, Sky tower, Dolphin Lagoon, the Images of Singapore, Sentosa 4D max, Fort Siloso Tours, the Flying Trapeze, The Merlion and the Merlion Walk) and many more places.

But the best thing that Singapore attracted me is the "safety" that is always inside of me. There is no doubt that the Singapore if one of the safetiest place for me. I just love everything about Singapore, very clean, very safe.

Two things that I don't like about Singapore are the Lack of Natural Resources and the Cost of living is too expensive.

Cost of Living - I have interviewed some Singapore Citizens from my work place and according to them, they don't like Singapore, I asked them why?, the reason is the Cost of Living, they earn high salaries, yes, but still not enough because the rentals of the Flat, Appartments are too expensive, same thing with the foods, transportation. In general, for them, everything about Singapore is too expensive.

Natural Resources - Singapore is very small country, and so when it comes to nature, they don't have much to offer, very few numbers of mountains, beaches, wild trees, wild life and ocean.

Now you have a little Idea about Singapore. These few things are part of my experiences and observations.

The purpose of my stay in Singapore is because of the International Practicum Training Program (IPTP) that my school had offered me.

I don't know really, just watch my video and try to read me..hehe

But honestly, edward is very sweet in terms of relationship to point that he will do anything to save the relation and he will give averything he could give for the sake of love, he is very simple yet down to earth, kinda weird sometimes, but mostly you would find edward as a happy person especially mingling with his own friends..

Edward, is kinda weird in terms of food trip, he loves street foods but stil depends on the street or place, but if he noticed the one selling foods n the street is kinda weird or dirty, he would sudenly change his mind not to eat anymore..

Edward is a very nice person, nice to be with, can mingle to almost all types of people around.
